I am Tautvydas Vaičiūnas, the chief beekeeper of a managed beekeeping farm.

The beekeeping farm was founded in Šakiai, and the apiary consists of between 15 and 20 apiary sections in the Šakiai district and surrounding area.

More than 10 years ago, the previously owned medium-sized apiary expanded after deciding to engage in this activity professionally and taking over the farm.

Currently, it is one of the largest apiaries in Lithuania, specializing in the collection of honey and bee bread, as well as the breeding of queen bees and producing bee colonies and nucs.

We are also active members of the beekeeping community.

The apiary is being tested for American and European foulbrood at the National Food and Veterinary Risk Assessment Institute (NMVRVI).

We issue invoices, contracts, and goods acceptance-transfer acts.

The apiary was awarded second place in the national "Most Advanced Apiary in Lithuania 2019" competition.
